If we could, would it be worth the gamble that he might ever return to pro QB form? If the price wasn't exorbitant under the circumstances that he may never even play again, it would be worth the gamble to me. Nothing more of a gamble than drafting any rookie in hopes he makes it. If we could get him, he could sit and continue to heal slowly under specialist care. If he needed more surgeries, he would certainly have the time with the Cards.

I have no idea, but if the Vikes would take a 4th rounder or something around that, well .......

I've heard his career might be over. He's not a championship QB anyway

Teddy and his noodle arm prob won't mesh too well with BAs 'fudge it were goin deep boys' offensive strategy. Highly doubt he's even remotely close to being on their radar.

In SBF defense there were a fair number of posters here supporting the drafting of Bridgewater when he came out so I am assuming this is why he posted this. That said I would rather take a whirl on a 4th round QB selection instead of trading it to Minny for Bridgewater. Bridgewater was a decent QB before the injury and I just don't think he will ever be the same after it which reduces him to at best backup status and then maybe not even that.

Yes we could get Teddy. And a healthy Teddy is a franchise QB. You all should be thrilled if we landed a healthy Teddy Bridgewater.

The only question is his health. Major unknown.

I am 100% on board with this.

If the Cardinals could steal Bridgewater from the Vikings, what is there to lose ? TB is still on his rookie contract, he is not going to be ready next year, and would be in a position where he could be an option in 2018.

Bridgewater will come back from the injury, will be a starting QB in the league, and will win. <-- That is my bold claim. Thus I am all for this.

I would not be thrilled, even if healthy. He's a mediocre QB who has a career threatening injury.

He's a young guy with elite talent. Teddy has the 1 thing that separates the elite, from the Logan Thomas's of the NFL....accuracy. At every level hes been consistently accurate. He can put the ball on a dime. He also has a very strong football mind for reading defenses. Theres plenty of 6'5, 240 nimrods who can throw the ball out of the stadium. But they dont have touch. Teddy can make all the throws, and put the ball where only WRs can get it.

In his first 2 years, hes improved tremendously. His rookie year is no indication of how good he is. Peyton Mannings rookie year was atrocious.

If you look at his tools and his trajectory, he is absolutely a future franchise QB, if healthy.

The injury reports were devastating but a medical & brief workout would tell you much. The physical is always part of a trade. I was one who said he was a superior prospect. He is a true student of the game and a film enthusiast. He can make all the throw and was reasonably mobile. My reservation proved prophetic as his body frame looked like he'd be vulnerable to injury. If reasonably healthy he could be the QBOTF, I think the cap number might be prohibitive. He wouldn't be a good choice for continuous empty backfield sets.
