Cooper Ingle was 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs as the Clippers defeated Indianapolis 7-5 on April 4 at Huntington Park.
George Valera was 3 for 3 and Stuart Fairchild was 2 for 3 for Columbus (6-2). Clippers starter Ryan Webb allowed four runs on seven hits in 3⅔ innings and reliever Tommy Mace allowed one run on four hits in 2⅔ innings in the rain-shortened game.
Billy Cook was 3 for 4 with a home run for Indianapolis (1-7). Davis Wendzel also homered.
The teams play again at 1:05 p.m. April 5 at Huntington Park
