Brutus Buckeye is visiting the Columbus Clippers in September.

The Clippers announced they will host an Ohio State night at Huntington Park in a game against the St. Paul Saints on Friday, Sept. 18, the eve of Ohio State football's home game against Kent State.

While details of the theme's tie-in are still to be announced, the Clippers will wear Ohio State-style uniforms, which will also be available for purchase by fans.

There will be a pre-sale over the weekend for fans looking to purchase the Clippers and Buckeyes collab jersey, according to a Clippers representative.

In 2025, the Clippers had a similarly themed night when they wore Blue Jackets-inspired jerseys in a 5-3 walk-off victory against the Pittsburgh Pirates' AAA affiliate on Sept. 4. Travis Bazzana, now the Cleveland Guardians All-Star second baseman, hit a two-run home run for the walk-off.

Ohio State athletics is no stranger to Huntington Park, either. The Ohio State baseball team played its first-ever regular-season game at Huntington Park against Michigan State on May 8, winning 15-5. Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin also stopped by in the spring and threw a first-pitch strike ahead of a home game versus the Iowa Cubs on April 14.
