The Indianapolis Colts will once again face quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the 2026 NFL season.

Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers have reportedly agreed to a one-year deal for the 2026 season. Rodgers will reunite with his former head coach Mike McCarthy.

This news didn't come as a surprise, but it is now official. The Colts will face Rodgers and the Steelers in Pittsburgh in Week 5, following Indianapolis' trip to London in Week 4, where they play the Washington Commanders.

This will be Rodgers' second season with the Steelers.

When the Colts and Steelers met last season, Pittsburgh would come away with the win at home by a score of 27-20. Rodgers was 25-of-35 passing for 203 yards with one touchdown. It was in this game that the Colts' offense turned the ball over six times, five of which belong to Daniel Jones -- three interceptions and two lost fumbles.

Overall, during the 2025 season, Rodgers completed 65% of his passes for 3,468 yards with 24 touchdowns to eight interceptions. The Pittsburgh offense ranked 17th in points per game.

The Steelers finished the season 10-7 and were the winners of the AFC North. They would lose in the AFC wildcard round to the Houston Texans.

The matchup this year against Rodgers will conclude what appears to be a very challenging start to the 2026 season for the Colts.
