May 18 (UPI) -- The Pittsburgh Steelers signed quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a one-year contract, the team announced Monday.

Sources told ESPN and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that the pact is worth up to $25 million, with $22 million in guarantees. Rodgers, 42, signed a one-year, $13.6 million contract last off-season when he joined the Steelers in free agency.

The four-time NFL MVP completed 65.7% of his passes for 3,222 yards, 24 scores and seven interceptions last season. He went 10-6 as a starter for the Steelers, who won the AFC North division title but lost in the first round of the playoffs.

Rodgers is set to lead a quarterbacks room that also features Mason Rudolph, Will Howard and Drew Allar, a third-round pick by the Steelers in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Rodgers reported to Pittsburgh on Monday, when the Steelers held their first day of organized team activities. They will host mandatory minicamp from June 2 to 4.
