Indianapolis Colts' linebacker Jaylon Carlies will be available for the first time this season in Sunday's Week 14 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Colts announced on Saturday that Carlies has been activated from injured reserve, and his questionable designation for this week's game has been removed.
He will be available for Sunday's game.
Carlies has been on injured reserve all season up to this point. An ankle injury kept him sidelined for much of training camp, and it landed him on IR during roster cutdowns in late August.
Carlies has been back at practice for the last three weeks.
Last season, Carlies appeared in 10 games and made six starts. He logged one sack, 36 total tackles, and a pass breakup.
Upon his return this season, Carlies could help out on special teams. Germaine Pratt has filled in next to Zaire Franklin since being signed earlier this season. Perhaps Lou Anarumo could look to get Carlies on the field during more obvious passing situations.
The Colts still had an open roster spot on the 53-man after releasing kicker Michael Badgley earlier in the week, so no corresponding cut had to be made.
The Colts also announced that defensive end Tyquan Lewis (ankle) has been downgraded to out.
Kicker Blake Grupe and defensive tackle Chris Wormley have been elevated from the practice squad to the game-day roster.
