Indianapolis Colts' cornerback is questionable to return to the team's Week 17 game with a calf injury.

This matchup with Jacksonville was Gardner's first game back since suffering a calf injury in Week 13 against the Houston Texans.

Gardner returned to practice this past week for the first time as well.

Gardner exited the game early in the second half.

The Athletic's James Boyd saw Gardner on the sidelines wearing a wrap on his left calf.

#Colts CB Sauce Gardner officially has a left calf injury and is questionable to return.

(Without question, he should not play again this season.) https://t.co/SEg7n153WU

There haven't been any reports as to whether this is the same injury that Gardner was working through previously.

According to Pro Football Focus' early tracking data, Gardner had allowed two completions on three targets for just 13 yards while also logging a pass breakup in this game.

We will update this article as more reports come in.
