It's always annoyed me how MLB determines the winning pitcher. Like Soroka didn't get the win last night because he only went 4.1 innings* but some reliever can come in, throw to one batter and get a win.
Same thing with a game like Saturday where Pfaadt was lights out for 7 innings but got no run support. If we had won the game then a reliever would have gotten it when Pfaadt was really the reason for the win.
And the one the bugs me the most when it happens is the starter leaves the game with a lead, could have been a gem of a game too. The bull pen gives up the lead but then the team rallies back. The guy that blew the lead gets the W a lot of the time.
*I don't have a huge problem with Littell getting the W last night since he went 4.2 innings and finished the game. When I saw that he got the win it just set off the thought cascade on how the winning pitcher is determined.

Terrible loss to a crap team. Yeah, Colorado may be a little better than last year, but not by much. At Coors Field, there is always a chance for the visitors to lose. But at home, no way should the Dbacks lose a game to the Rockies - particularly when hanging on by a thread to a WC spot with just over a month to go in the season.
That loss wasnt back breaking, but it was annoying.
We're on fire and we looked like we would put a hurt on them early in the game, but then it was as if someone unplugged the gaming controller. It's an issue if we lose again today.
