Former Kansas State defensive back Noah King announced he's transferring to Colorado. The four-star safety was an ESPN 300 recruit in the 2025 class. King will have four years of eligibility remaining for Deion Sanders and company in Boulder.

King was noted as the No. 218 player in the country and No. 26 among safeties, according to 247Sports. He racked up 41 tackles (3.5 for loss), a sack, one interception and four pass breakups as a senior.


Sanders addressed his team’s secondary as one of the main concerns coming out of the spring game. Since then, the Buffs have nabbed four defensive backs, including king. Former Auburn safety transfer Terrance Love was the first, along with Illinois State cornerback Teon Parks, and Tennessee safety John Slaughter.

Colorado will kick off the 2025 regular season against Georgia Tech on Friday, Aug. 29. The first of a home-and-home series with the Jackets at Folsom Field.
