The legacy of Colby Singletary will continue to support local student-athletes this month as the scholarship fund established in his honor surpasses a major milestone.
Since 2020, the Colby Singletary Scholarship Fund has awarded $91,000 in scholarships. That figure will exceed $100,000 this year when 10 student-athletes receive a share of $20,000 during the fund's seventh annual Sports Awards Ceremony on June 13, 2026, in Naples.
The annual event recognizes outstanding student-athletes from across Southwest Florida for their achievements both on the field and in the classroom. This year's ceremony will be held at the Naples Conference Center, with registration beginning at 11 a.m. and the luncheon and awards program scheduled from noon to 2:30 p.m.
In addition to honoring this year's scholarship recipients, the ceremony serves as a celebration of Singletary's lasting impact on the local sports community. Family members, supporters and community leaders are expected to gather for the event, which has become a yearly tradition since the scholarship fund's inception.
Here is a list of this year's applicants, which includes multiple Player of the Year winners from this past school year, as well as a handful of First and Second Team selections in their respective sports.
