Berlin Brothersvalley's Elena Ritchey was voted Somerset all-county softball Most Valuable Player by the county coaches for 2026 season.
Ritchey went 15-1 in the circle with a 1.89 ERA during her junior campaign. Her lone loss came to eventual PIAA champion, Union Area in the Class 1A semifinals. Ritchey allowed 40 runs, 28 earned on 74 hits, 21 walks and struck out 143 in 103⅔ innings of work.
