Another week in the 2026 college baseball calendar came and went with the Clemson Tigers still mired in a slump.

The Tigers (19-10 overall, 2-7 conference) fell to Coastal Carolina, 11-9, in midweek play at Doug Kingsmore Stadium on Tuesday after surrendering a 9-3 lead after six innings. Clemson then dropped two of three at home to the Miami Hurricanes (21-7, 4-5) in ACC play with Saturday's 8-6 loss in the series finale.

Clemson rallied from a 3-0 deficit Friday night to send the game into extra innings before Miami erupted for five runs in the 10th inning of an 8-3 victory. Tryston McCladdie and the Tigers' bats answered Saturday with a 7-6 victory. McCladdie clubbed two home runs, and Nate Savoie added his 10th blast of the season.

But Miami prevailed in Saturday's finale despite a late rally from Clemson, which fell behind 8-2 in the seventh inning. McCladdie had his second straight three-hit game, and Jacob Jarrell finished with three hits, including his team-leading 12th home run.

Since its 15-1 start to the season, Clemson has now lost nine of its last 13 games after a 1-3 week against Miami and Coastal Carolina.
