CJ Rosser, the top-ranked player in the Class of 2027, made an unofficial visit to North Carolina on Wednesday, his second to UNC, according to TarHeel247's David Sisk.
The Rocky Mount native first visited Chapel Hill in December and was originally offered by the previous coaching staff in March 2025. Coach Michael Malone reoffered him after taking over this spring.
Rosser also has made unofficial visits to Kentucky, Louisville and NC State. He has not set official visits for the fall, though UNC and Kentucky have drawn much of the attention in his recruitment.
Rosser now plays at Southeastern Prep in Florida, where he averaged 16.7 points and 6.7 rebounds last season while shooting 46% from the field and 33% from 3-point range.
Several recruiting analysts have said UNC is a priority for Rosser. He is expected to name finalists in August before scheduling official visits. It remains unclear whether he will decide during the Early Signing Period in November or next spring.
Rosser remains one of UNC's top recruiting targets, and his recruitment is expected to be a key storyline for Tar Heel fans over the next several months.
