This seems right. I would think more than one test would be performed.

CHRIS PAUL HAD A POSITIVE TEST. HE WAS VACCIATED IN FEB.

So, now he must have two negative tests in 24 hours to come off protocols ONLY IF he is A-symptomatic. If he is is symptomatic he enters the 10 day protocol.

So now...they are saying that if he was tested because of contact tracing he could be back at any time.

If Paul showed any symptoms? We are screwed.

They test daily but if he is showing symptoms the negative tests don't matter.

Chris Paul reportedly would have to pass two tests to return.

Only if he is A-symptomatic. If he is showing symptoms the negative tests don't matter. He automatically enters the 10 day protocol.

Everything hinges on if he showed symptoms.

That or he is asymptomatic and continues to test positive.

everything hinges on getting a negative test. If there’s no negative test, nothing matters.

That's still a better scenario. He only has to test negative twice in 24 hours to get back. Meaning that could happen at any time. The other scenario is really bad news for the Suns. If it's the other scenario we can kiss the WCF goodbye.

So I guess we wait on Robert Sarver, James Jones or Monty Williams to make a statement.

They may wait depending upon health and safety protocols.

Suns won't say anything but something vague.

If he was vaxxed, he would have been tested only prior to the game and would have tested positive then and not played. The NBA protocol is to not test vaxxed players on off days.

Something smells off

It's relieving to know the Suns had the highest participation level in league regarding vaccinations.

Unless he felt sick in the last couple days.

It's would read like this.

"We can't comment on the specifics other than to say we are working with the league to allow the process to play out. Until then, we are focused on preparing for the WCF, with or without CP3."

If he's vaccinated, tested positive and being held out of games then its the league's fault for letting so many damn fans into the arenas.

It's up to the team, mixed with state regulations.

In Portland, they capped at 8k and vaccinated sections thst were closer to players and you had to show proof. Also, vaccinated or not, masked were mandatory. Blame Sarver for being so lose.

Fair point, but if I'm vaxxed and feeling off, I'm keeping it to myself knowing the WCF are a few days away. But this is the only logical answer.
And if you end up spreading it the rest of the team and now everyone is in protocols? I would rather be short just CP3 for some of the series than potential 2-3 key players.
