Former Miami Heat superstar Chris Bosh defended LeBron James’ decision to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Philadelphia 76ers had a stunning offseason where they made a plethora of changes to the roster. The most talked-about move among them is undoubtedly LeBron James signing a two-year deal.
At 41, James only has a few years left in his tank, and he chose the best destination to win at least one more NBA Championship in his career.
The 76ers will be the fourth NBA franchise that James will play for, and this has led to many labeling him as a ring chaser.

Chris Bosh makes Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant point after LeBron James accused of ring chasing
Although James isn’t your average 41-year-old, he will still likely be behind Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown in the pecking order.
Thus, James being a ring chaser narrative will only gain more momentum if the 76ers end up winning an NBA title with him as their fourth option. However, Miami Heat legend Chris Bosh is against that narrative.
“Philly was a pretty good choice too. A lot of people call it ring chasing. Everybody chases rings,” Bosh said, per HoopsHype.
He added, “If you didn’t think Kobe and Jordan were ring chasers too, you’re crazy. Everybody wants a ring. I’ll chase a ring right now.”
Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant are heavily regarded as two of the most ethical basketball players as they won all of their NBA championships with the same team.
Despite that, Bosh believes they were ring chasers, and he didn’t mean that in a bad way. However, Bosh’s comments may be misjudged, and the former Heat star will face scrutiny for defending James.
