The Kansas City Chiefs got some valuable intel from their excursion to Indianapolis, Indiana, for the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine.
While it remains to be seen how the team will approach free agency — which could drastically alter Kansas City's strategy in the 2026 NFL Draft — Chiefs general manager Brett Veach should now have a better understanding of the first-year talent that will be available to him in April.
Take a look at this full seven-round Chiefs mock draft, in which Veach decides to select top performers from the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine:
Love is among the most popular picks for Kansas City in Round 1, and for good reason. There is no doubt that Love would bring a much-needed spark to the Chiefs' running game, but his outstanding showing in the 40-yard dash may entice other teams to take him off the board before Kansas City makes its No. 9 selection.
Miller put up an impressive 32 reps in the bench press event, which was good for second place among all offensive linemen. The Chiefs pick him here in Round 2 as a potential contender to start at the right tackle position next season.
Halton's 36.50" vertical jump led all defensive tackles at the combine, and he recorded the third-best 40-yard dash time (4.82 seconds) among his hefty peers.
The Chiefs take back-to-back Sooners by selecting Burks, who — like Halton — had the best vertical jump (42.50") and third-fastest 40-yard dash time (4.30 seconds) among players in his position group.
Veach further cements his commitment to building Kansas City's ground game by taking Farmer, who tied for the third-best 40-yard dash time (4.93 seconds) among all offensive linemen.
While Green has never been considered the best quarterback in this class, his outstanding combine performance turned heads in Indianapolis. Green ran the 40-yard dash in 4.36 seconds with a 1.55-second 10-yard split, and easily set the top marks in the vertical and broad jump events at 43.50" and 11' 2", respectively.
