With the official start to their 2026 training camp just days away, the Kansas City Chiefs are already dealing with injuries.

On Saturday, July 25, the Chiefs placed rookie tight end John Michael Gyllenborg and second-year defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott on their Active/PUP list.

These maneuvers guarantee that Gyllenborg and Norman-Lott will be unavailable for Kansas City's first practice sessions at training camp on the field at Missouri Western State University — and may be early indications of longer absences.

Take a look at the official announcement of the key roster moves, which was shared on Twitter by the Chiefs' official account:

Gyllenborg is a local product who attended Rockhurst High School in Kansas City and signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent earlier this year.

Norman-Lott joined Kansas City as a second-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and is expected to play a major role in the Chiefs' new-look pass-rush when he returns to action.
