McCarthy is absolute trash right now. He was trash all spring. Play Alek Thomas

Also stop batting Lourdes in the top 4. Move up Geno and his bat that is on fire.

Torey just sucks

Easy moves to win more games:

#1. Move Geno to clean up. It's nonsense he isn't in the cleanup role while leading the majors in HRs and being smoking hot in the spring.
#2. McCarthy is the 4th outfielder who platoons with Gurriel in left. Gurriel is tragically bad right now and batting him in the top 4 is absolute nonsense. Just try to cobble together a useful LF and let Thomas grow.
#3. Your starters are better than whomever the f Jalen Beeks is.
#4. Garret Hampson needs to be DFA'd and bring up Jordan Lawlar. It's happening this year at some point so do it sooner than later.
#5. DFA Jose Herrera and bring up Del Castillo. Having a useful lefty bat on the bench is 100x more useful than the zero bat poor defense that Herrera brings

Reno just put Del Castillo on the 7-day injured list.

Other than that 3 games in is a little early to expect them to reverse the decisions they've made coming out of Spring Training.

Snakes gotta get going. I know there’s tons and tons and tons of baseball left but with LA & SD starting off scorching hot, every game truly matters.

The NL is extremely top heavy and the playoffs will be an absolute gauntlet.

I think I'd actually rather have Corbin lead off, with Marte 2nd and Geno 3rd...and I would consider Moreno or DH (Grichuk/Pavin) at clean up. I want the offense to put pressure on the other team from the beginning.

Torrey being Torrey.
They need to give Lovullo a drug test. 4 game series with a team that was slapped around by LA and good ol' TL can't manage his way out of a paper bag. Hope the DBacks can get a split of the 4 game series in spite of Lovullo, but with that "Sunday Funday" lineup, the odds are not exactly in their favor. At least the Arizona Coyotes are trying to make the NHL Playoffs - oh, wait a sec, we lost that team to Utah.

OMG! They didn't call a third strike on a ball that was clearly a strike on Suzuki. He gets another pitch, and of course hits a two run HR. Oh, and the reason a guy was on Base, was the Dbacks thought the count on the batter was 2-2, so Rodriguez threw a pitch outside to get the batter to chase. Then the umpire indicted ball four. The hitter didn't even react immediately. He taught it was a 3-2 count, too. Then Louvello comes out and was told there was a clock violation on the first pitch, that evidently wasn't clearly made aware to either side. So of course Rodriguez gets chased when he should have potentially had two outs racked up. He had only given up two hits before all this through five innings. Umpires have bad innings too, I guess.
