Charley Hull, Minjee Lee among those who missed cut at KPMG Women's PGA

CHASKA, Minn. – When the cut moved to 1 over at the KPMG Women's PGA, a number of popular players were sent packing, including three in the top 10 of the Rolex Rankings. Defending champion Minjee Lee, Charley Hull and Hannah Green, who won at Hazeltine in 2019, all missed the cut by one.

The scoring average of 73.098 is the third-lowest average score relative to par through 36 holes of this championship over the last 35 years, according to Elias Sports Bureau. South Korea's Ina Yoon continues to pummel the field, leading by five.

A total of 70 players made the cut, including Nicole Felce, a 21-year-old PGA/LPGA Assistant Golf Professional at Countryside Country Club in Clearwater, Florida. Felce, who turned pro at age 18, is the first teaching pro to make the cut in the KPMG since Jimin Kang in 2019.

European Solheim Cup captain Anna Nordqivst, a past champions of this event, played her last eight holes in 4 under to make the weekend, punching her fist in the air. She's the first European captain to make the cut during a Solheim Cup year.

LPGA Hall of Famer Lydia Ko bounced back from an opening 76 to make the cut on the number.

After a tough playoff loss last week in Michigan at the Meijer LPGA Classic, Lottie Woad couldn't get the putter going at the third major of the season. The English player shot 75 on Friday to finish at 3 over in her KPMG Women's PGA debut. It marks her first missed cut in a major since the 2025 Chevron.

Two-time major champion Lilia Vu's struggles continue. After rounds of 80-73, the former No. 1 has missed the cut in her last seven major championship starts. She made only two birdies all week, ranking well outside the top 100 in approach play.

Lauren Coughlin, who was born in nearby Minneapolis, ranked 149th in strokes gained putting this week. This marks Coughlin's second straight missed cut at the KPMG.

England's Hull, who finished runner-up in two of her last three starts in the majors, shot 73-73.
