Queta, 26, emerged as the team's starting center following the offseason departures of Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford and Luke Kornet, averaging 10.2 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
Meanwhile, Walsh stepped up in his third NBA season, flashing impressive defense and rebounding alongside good shooting splits.
Walsh is only 22, so he appears to have a bright future ahead of him.
Himmelsbach also reported that the Celtics are declining the options of Amari Williams and Max Shulga. However, they could still have opportunities with the team moving forward.
