CeeDee Lamb responded to John Harbaugh in the most amazing way after the new New York Giants head coach issued a public challenge to his divisional rivals.

During a recent town hall event in New York, Harbaugh dismissed Dallas' historical dominance and stated that his goal is to build a team capable of beating the Cowboys.

The veteran coach said he does not care about the results of previous seasons or even the last decade. He emphasized that his current focus remains on daily practices to ensure the Giants are prepared to physically dominate the matchup in September.

"I could care less about what's happened last year, the year before that, or ten years before that," Harbaugh said. Because if tomorrow's practice is the way it's supposed to be, that'll be one more step in the direction of being a good enough football team to kick the Cowboys' [Expletive]."

These comments were intended to energize a frustrated fan base that has seen little success against their rivals recently.

CeeDee Lamb responded to John Harbaugh by offering a brief and dismissive reaction on social media. The star wide receiver posted on Instagram, calling the coach's bold claims "cute."

New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh said recently that he cared about each team’s next practice going well, and he added that if that’s the case it’ll be one more step towards kicking the Cowboys’ ass.

This simple response reflects the high level of confidence present within the Dallas organization heading into the 2026 season.

Lamb responded in such a way because the franchise has enjoyed significant success against New York for nearly 10 years. Records show that the Cowboys have won 16 of their last 20 meetings against the Giants.

Star quarterback Dak Prescott has also been a major factor in this rivalry, having won 13 of his last 14 starts against the New York franchise.

The upcoming Week 1 game will take place on Sunday Night Football at MetLife Stadium. While the Giants have made several roster additions like quarterback Jaxson Dart and wide receiver Malik Nabers, oddsmakers currently list Dallas as a small favorite on the road.

Lamb’s response highlights that verbal threats do not change the reality of the lopsided series. Both teams are looking to turn things around after difficult finishes to their 2025 campaigns.

This prime-time kickoff will serve as the first real test for Harbaugh's new program and the revamped Dallas defense under coordinator Christian Parker. The game will attract significant viewership as a classic rivalry enters a new era.
