Cards last beat the 49ers in 2011 when John "Double Dunce" Skelton had his one semi-great game as a pro. But it is the only game against them we've won since 2008. Could have won the 2nd game last season but blew it at the end.

The cardinals could have won both games againist the 49ers. Turnovers where the difference. The Cardinals are right there with them. The difference this season will be Carson Palmer taking care of the ball.

I so hope we get Ginn or whoever in FA that can be our speed WR so we don't have to spend a draft pick on one.

To catch the Hawks and 9ers we must get a LT, Pass Rusher, TE and speed WR in that order. This of course assumes we re-sign Los, Shaughnessy and Rucker plus either Cason or Arenas.

I would add D'Anthony Thomas to your draft options. He may be small but he has unparalleled speed in the open field. You can have him come out of the backfield where no LB will be able to cover him or the slot.

I will definitely give him a look. Thanks!

With so many lower round picks and undrafted players they are ALL going to want to get paid. The irony is that having one of the youngest teams may actually be a detriment in these situations.

Depends on the contracts doesn't it? Unless you have most of your players on contracts that expire at the same time the hit would be spread over several seasons.

The only type of WR the Cards will take is a speed receiver who can spread the field. That said Arians doesn't just want a decoy. The tackle is a must-have to give the QB time to throw deep. The board was sharp to notice Sando missed the critical need for a real return man. The Cards too often started with terrible field position. The Cards need another pass rusher. Abraham was amazing, but he can't last forever. Finally, the Cards need a starting corner. The play is to get the tackle in free agency and the kick return in round 3 or later.

Thomas is blazing fast. Very small for the NFL though. Similar to his predecessor at Oregon Lamichael James, but faster. Certainly could help us in the return game. Would probably be able to give us a limited amount of snaps. I like him in the fifth round or later.

You forgot TE, SS and RB. That's a lot to address through the draft AND sign a LT, extend PP, and resign Dansby and possibly Shaughnessey or someone else. Winston?

Lets hope some gems are bought on the cheap in FA again.
