YAC yards largely come down to good accuracy and timing with the QB and a decently spaced out defense so you aren't getting hit as soon as you catch the ball. This offense and this QB do those things better than most teams.

That type of play is exactly why AJ was brought in. A one on one mismatch against a CB in the end zone. I'd have Kyler go to him 99 times out of 100.
