You were all over that one, PoolBoy. Interested to see what the compensation is.

Great call, Orangeman.

There goes my Wells for Tony Richardson trade. Oh well.

I wish Reggie Wells the best. He was a key cog in our Super Bowl run...and a very bright, classy and dedicated young man who made it from Clarion University all the way to the Super Bowl.

Reggie is in effect going home to PA!

Go get em Reggie!

Schefter, reporting it's a sixth round pick.

I understand the deal but a 6th round pick is a good deal for the Eagles, they wouldn't get an immediate starter on the OL with that pick.

Hmm. I'm not sure I like it.

I would have hoped we could have gotten a player we could use this season. Why not wait until the off-season to trade Wells? He has a lot of versatility as a backup.

Better than a 3rd round pick.

Because this is the last year of his deal, I believe.

Very deep at OL already with Hadnot and bridges. Might need the roster space for other places too.

ah-ha. Okay, then. I still don't think we got what we should have...we could probably use him at some point this season. Hpe it signals confidence in our yutes.

We had a glut at OG position. We needed to get rid of one of the guards. As far as a player that we could use this season, other than an interior LB I think that the coaches probably feel good about our starting line up and the depth.

Wells is in the twilight of his career. Moving him makes room for the young guys.
