Cards sign FA Derrick Ransom from KC

Not a blockbuster move, but a signing at an area of need nonetheless. I'd rather have had some other players, but props to the front office for getting off their keysters and getting a player in here.

Well, with King being out until late in October, something HAD to be done. At this point, there really is no one who can make a big impact. They know Ransom, and thought he could help last year, so I think that is a plus and as good as you can do two games into the season.

KC may have had a bad defense last season..but I know one team they pretty much shut down..

Not meaning to rain on anyones parade here but Ransom is just a warm body.

He isn't better than anyone we have except Michael Stone... He could probably play better saftey than Stone.

The above was an obvious joke just for the record.

What I have seen of Ransom here in KC is that he fits our Tanner Davis mold perfectly enough said.

Apart form a few exceptional, nay, surprising cuts such as Maloy anybody available is going to be average and/or injury prone at best
