If we do move on from Williams, I don't believe it is much of a loss. It says more about Williams than our RB room IMO tho. Like, if you can't make it in KC, probably aren't going to make it many places.

I called this during the game thread that it looked like he might get cut.

He's just not enough better than the younger guys to justify not keeping the younger guys.

McKinnon is a journeyman and nothing special. Even in 2021 he ran behind Williams in KC. Jones has had a couple of pretty good seasons and might be a bit better than Williams but again you could probably name two dozens other RBs who are in the same class as Jones.

i have no opinion on Williams, but it sure seems we are over valuing Ingram. I bet he would clear waivers and can be put on the practice squad -- there were 19 backs taken ahead of him in this draft
