Would this be a good time to remind people we were paying Jermaine Gresham this kind of money like 5 years ago?

Greshams APY was $7m per year which was 4.2% of the cap.

Without seeing Ertz details and saying straight $10m APY thats 4.8% of the cap.

I know which one I'd rather have.

Everyone knew that deal was absolutely terrible outside of Keim apparently, not a great benchmark to use.

Or remind everyone about the hand ringing that went on when Dan Arnold left

I like Ertz and i remind you what I pointed out right after we signed him. Ertz was never healthy last year he injured his hamstring in week 1 and played essentially the whole year with it, remember even with us he was on the injured list(Detroit) with the hamstring injury and was often taking days off during the week to treat it. not saying he's not 31 and not slowing down but there was an obvious reason for it last year that was the hamstring.

It's that why he just had his best YAC season ever?

His average was 2.9 per reception the last 3 years at Philly. He just had 4.6 per reception.

Combination of injuries, another good TE on the roster, and a QB in Hurts who refuses to throw over teh middle

Making an example of a bad past decision should change the fact that resigning Ertz with an expensive three year deal isn't a wise move?

It’s so hilarious how easy Keim makes it look fooling some of the fanbase.
The only credit I'll give is to acknowledge he is **** for drafting, so this is what we have to live with... Permanence of stop gaps in our roster.
