That number needs to be adjusted to the minimum required spend, the salary cap is for the rest of the league that actually tries, for us it's the minimum the NFL requires us to spend.

They did that with Seumalo. His cap hit this year is $6.8M. 2027 $11.4m 2028 $13.1M

I'm pretty sure that's already accounted for. Kyler's contract was already accounted for in this years cap space, the numbers we were looking at before we cut him.

Cutting him didn't really change that much, we're still paying him roughly the same, just not to be here.

That’s not what “frontloaded” means. If they were frontloading it, they would have a higher guaranteed salary and roster bonus this year and smaller cap charges in the following years.
