He's a James Conner clone except he's 25 years old. I know people will be dissapointed in not taking Love, but Allgeier is a legitimate starter level running back. I personally think he's the best value player in free agency.

I'm just glad we're not rolling into the season with 31 year old Conner coming off a horrific injury and Trey "blue tent" Benson as the main plan.

Allegier was reported in the media to be a target for the Seahawks as a replacement for Kenneth Walker. If it's true that they liked him I feel a lot better about this for the Cardinals!

He lost his starting role to Bijan Robinson. Not exactly what I’d call a failure. Also not a lot of miles.
