this was a bad plan all along

I'd take a 33 year old Scherff, who hasn't missed a game in 4 years over a almost 30 year old injury prone Hernandez. Can't protect the QB from IR. Then let Conner, Adams and Brown battle it out for the other spot.

Hernandez isn't injury prone.
He got injured. Big difference.
It ain't like he has been missing 6 or 8 games every year.

Odd, almost like I called this.

Played 5 games last year and just parts of 4 games and only 3 full games games this year

@oaken1 is this your opinion?

Man what a bummer- in a lost season though I wouldn’t mind Isiah Adam’s getting some more playing time. If he continues to be terrible then we cut bait

He played in 42 games for the Cardinals, 36 full games, out of a possible 68 games. Its unfortunate he couldn't stay healthy because he's a solid player when he is. I think this might be it for him though. His knees just can't take the beating required in the NFL anymore.

Will is still recovering. We all know they ain't fully back the first season... I expect him fully back next year.
If he is still suffering these nagging injuries then he would move into the "injury prone" category

I agree. I think he played hurt all season. A good offseason of rest & rehab should still make him a candidate to return, even if not as a starter. He knows the offense and is a solid team player. The type a team wants in their locker room.
