Ok, I'm gonna go complete conspiracy theory here (Not Q, mind you)...Steve Wilks is still part of the Brian Flores lawsuit against NFL, which I believe includes Bidwill/Cardinals by name, if memory serves. Maybe this trade was a way for Bidwill to show proof that the NFL is just a business and their wasn't anything nefarious about letting Wilks go after one horrible year.

Huh??? How does trading for Robbie Anderson accomplish that? The Cardinals have one of the longest histories of hiring and promoting minorities the proof is already in the pudding…. They didn’t need to arbitrarily trade for **** Robbie Anderson to show that…

It’s really hard to put into words how bad our ownership has been from day 1. When we have a poor HC, it’s almost impossible for this team to win. And, there should be no doubt just how much KK is in over his head. We need a tough personality on that sideline to overcome how wimpy our ownership is. All you have to do is look over our history to see what coaches have had any success here at all. In the 60’s we had a hard nosed Charley Winner that had some success until Billy B put his cronies in the FO & they low balled all their draft picks. In the 70’s we had Coryell. And even though he was an offensive minded coach, he was hard nosed. Never smiled on the sideline & net looked nervous either. Billy boy ran him out of town as soon as Coryell asked for help on the defensive side of the ball. In the 80’s, even Jim Hanifan brought physicality to our OL style of play. Boy, they could use his style with out wimpy OL of today. After a great 1984, they had an injury plagued 85 & Bidwill couldn’t even fire Hanifan face to face. He had the locks changed & Jim found out when he couldn’t get into the offices the next day. Who does that kind of crap. The 90’s were crap across the board, but even Gene Stallings brought an element of toughness to this franchise. But, Billy boy wouldn’t hire any decent coaches on the offensive side of the ball. And Stallings did go on to win a National Championship at Alabama once he left our crap organization. Some didn’t like Wiz, but the guy did have some grit, he did win 4 playoff games, and he got us to the only SB that most of us will EVER see. He, like MANY HC’s just couldn’t win without a QB. And BA was a tough, hard nosed SOB & we saw he was capable of winning here until the window slammed shut due to poor drafts. This franchise will ALWAYS need a tough nosed HC that can instill toughness in the trenches. Until then, we will continue to be a doormat.
