So many good players still left we should end up with solid picks. The best offensive lineman in the draft is still there in Forest Lamp. Multiple top ranked defensive backs like Budda Baker and Sidney Jones are there and are huge needs for us. There are two positions that I wouldn't touch and those are quarterback and tight end. The top three of each went in the first round. Here is my list of who I would want the most on day two.

Forest Lamp OG
- I was not expecting him to fall out of the first round. If we were to draft him our line would be complete with three of them being young. I would love to see a line of DJ Humphries, Iupati, Boehm, Lamp, Veldheer.

Malik McDowell DE- I'm higher on him than most on this board, but I think he will be a dominant defensive lineman like Calais Campbell was.

Sidney Jones CB- He was considered the second best corner in this draft before he tore his achilles. Reports have him being able to play this year and we need a number two corner bad. He would be my top CB in the second round.

Budda Baker FS- He's the top free safety left on the board. He's got great range and instincts. Reminds me of the honey badger the way he flies to the ball. He can come up and cover slot receivers as well, but I think he will fit best as a single-high safety.

Zay Jones WR-
If we decide to go receiver I think Jones would be a solid pick as well as Juju Smith-Schuster and Cooper Kupp. All three are 6'2" and considered number two wide outs.

Marcus Williams FS-
Is the next best free safety to me after Budda Baker. If Budda is already off the board and the Cards want to take a safety Williams would be a solid pick.

Tanoh Kpassagnon DE- The 6'7" 290 pounder would be a great pick for our defensive line. We need a replacement for Campbell and this guy would be my choice along with Malik McDowell.

There are many more players especially cornerbacks but these are my favorites for the Cards. Who are your top choices for day two.

Like it or not but CC's replacement has already been drafted. I wouldn't complain if they add more talent to the Dline but I don't think it's needed more than a CB and Safety.

I know they drafted Nkemdiche and hopefully he turns out to be a great DE, but who is going to be the other DE. I don't see him on the roster yet either. Rucker is about to retire. Gunter is looking more and more like a rotation player as well as Josh Mauro. I don't think Stinson even makes the team this year. Both Peters and Williams are more nose tackles.

If we were not so needy at the other positions I would love to take Dalvin Cook. Can you imagine having both Johnson and Cook in the backfield. That would be the best backfield in the NFL. If we took him I wouldn't be upset about it for sure.

BASK carried an extra Dlineman or two on last years roster so they believe that Rucker, Peters, Diche, Pierre, Stinson and Mauro are the answer at DE.

More of a need at CB & FS IMO. If a stud DE is there then okay but I feel a stud CB or FS will be there as well. I would also be okay with Lamp because I do like to keep feeding the trenches and Lamp would be a huge value pick.

Nope, way too many character issues and he has fumbleitis. I suspect we get a RB in rd 4 or 5 and they will be a value pick at that point.

I don't think of the Geech as a Calais-type super-tall interior lineman. I think his skills are more "horizontal" (kind of like a bigger version of Chandler Jones only with a bit more speed and twitchiness up the A-gap).

A guy that completely slipped my mind, Curtis Samuel, would be an excellent choice.

I think our defensive line is weak right now. We don't have one star player. Right now Mauro is our best DE. Hopefully Nkemdiche becomes a star this year, but he hasn't shown anything yet.

I hate that we are so needy at so many positions on defense. I really thought Keim was going to take care of a couple of positions in free agency but he didn't. I agree that with you that CB and FS are bigger needs for us. My philosophy is it all starts in the trenches. If there is a potential star sitting there in the draft at defensive line I take him over a defensive back. Really though there are so many good choices right now as long as we get one that turns out to be a solid starter for us I'll be happy.

Yea your right I don't see him that way either. I do look at Tanoh Kpassagnon as a CC type. That's why I'm hoping we take him on day two to replace CC.

I've read that he is compared to Percy Harvin. That's pretty good praise. He's a playmaker for sure with speed and can be used alot of ways either as a receiver or even as a running back.

Percy Harvin was nothing special & I don't think Samuel is either
