It is definitely weird. It feels like the Cards are in 'camp fodder' mode with CBs instead of getting ready to start the season.

The waiver wire doesn't offer much and we got a guy to battle Matthew for the 5th spot and insurance in case Hamilton is out for a bit. I assume they are tired of Alford being injured.

Alford's Twitter feed doesn't seem to mention it, but it doesn't mean it isn't true.

My guess is a locker room beef.

We still may plan on adding Alford after week one. This guy could be worst case fill-in for week one in the event of injuries. I think you may see some people come and go in our secondary as we sort things out early in the season. Not an ideal situation.

I'm sure we saw the same thing everyone else did the kid ran a 4.29 40 at the combine in 2020 so the assumption is if you can teach him how to play the position the upside is there. Sort of a mighty Mike.

LOL. I don't know how a guy who gave up a 122.5 QB Rating has a nearly 60 grade from PFF.
