TOPEKA — The Kansas high school state track and field championships will begin on Friday, May 29. The two-day event will showcase the best athletes in the state at the largest track and field championship in the country.

After a strong day at regionals, Shawnee County will be represented in almost every event this year. Here are the athletes qualified for the state championship in individual events.
