As the article says: 'Unless Smith as a rookie proves he can be the backup center, I believe Hudson’s backup is not yet on the team'.

Maxx Williams will likely be on PUP, so that's another spot available at the beginning of the season. Also, it's plausible that McSorely goes to PS, with 2 QBs on active roster...so that's another possible spot open.

The front 7 on defense isn't going to scare any OC. It's made up of declining vets, unproven rookies, under performers or JAGs. A couple of injuries and this group is pretty much cooked.
