I think this is the thinking that caused me to want Love at #3. If we're going to be bad, and I think we are, at least have some excitement.

Other than a great TE and the occasional OMG catches by Mike what do I have to look forward to on this offense?

If they redid that draft there are only a couple of guys I would say the Raiders might pick over Jeanty, one is Nolen who missed much of the year but looks like a star if healthy, the other is Dart who is talented and fun to watch but also scares the hell out of you with how many big hits he takes. There are other good players but not anybody that jumps out as me as they should have picked him not Jeanty. They had a terrible offense, the OL wasn't good, they don't even have a #2 WR let alone a 1, their passing game was Bowers and a bunch of guys. Not saying our offense this year is going to be great but we have more talent on Offense than the Raiders did last year.

Most of the time I've been saying take an edge or a RT I, would not be mad with Bailey. I'm a big Bain fan but I think 3 is too high for him. The only guy in this draft that teams are interested in moving up to get at 3 is Love, so why not just take him unless someone blows you away with a deal?

3.7 YPC and 5 rushing TDs sure feels a lot like “running back Marvin Harrison” territory to me.

Toxic situation etc etc but they didn’t get the fist pick in the draft because he was so good.

aside from being the cardinals and all?
we we're all predicting 10 wins last season
pardon a hippie if the memory is faulty but..

our defense kept us in games then became ass

our offense was ass - got better - but then struggled because our defense was ass

we still have all the defensive players that weren't ass - honestly i think it was the forced four man front that was ass - that and the carousel of injuries to our secondary

we still have all the offensive players that weren't ass - could be top 10 receiving core with mcbride and wilson as the #1 - brissett is brissett but we've never seen him with a running back - yet we've already seen him break records - nfl records not just arizona

a truly dope running back is what can turn this offense around - like the beatles said all we need is love

if rallis pulls out that blitz heavy playbook and finds his testicles we'll be ok

if love joins this offense and we focus on the o-line i think we'll be ok there too

and oh yeah lol - i would like to do all this while only winning 5 or 6 games but 4 would be even more ideal

Right. If it’s about “interesting” it depends on how you define it. If “interesting” is only measured in wins, no it won’t be. But if you’re rooting for the first pick in the draft you have a better chance of finding each week in a lost season “interesting.” We will undoubtedly lose more than win. So with my goal I’ll find more interesting weeks than not. This will not be an interesting season for Kerouac.
