If all goes according to plan for the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston are going to play together for a very long time. They had one of their best games ever together on Thursday.

The Indiana Fever stars became the first teammates in WNBA history to both post 30-point double-doubles in a 114-106 overtime win over the Chicago Sky. Clark had 32 points on 8-of-18 shooting and 10 rebounds, while Boston had 34 points on 13-of-26 shooting and 12 rebounds.

It was also the third 30-point, 10-assist game of Clark’s career. There are only four other such games in WNBA history, accomplished by Jia Perkins, Diana Taurasi, Sabrina Ionescu and Skylar Diggins.

The latter player was on the court for the Sky, and nearly helped push Chicago to a thrilling comeback win. The Fever jumped out to a 19-point lead in the second quarter, but the Sky took the lead back in the third quarter.

The Fever also held a five-point lead with 17.8 seconds left, but the Sky forced overtime with a pair of Elizabeth Williams free throws, a Kelsey Mitchell turnover and a Diggins 3-pointer.

The Fever managed to close things out in overtime, despite a 30-point game from Sky rookie Sydney Taylor off the bench.

The win improves the Fever’s record to 7-5, and 3-1 in Commissioner’s Cup play.
