Heuvelton returned to the Class D Championship game, defending champion Parishville-Hopkinton had its march put on hold by a scrappy Madrid-Waddington team and a weather suspension and Massena claimed the Class A Championship in the Section 10 Baseball Tournament Friday.
Massena claimed the Class A title with a 3-0 win over Malone, Heuvelton stayed undefeated on the season with a 14-2 win over Chateaugay and P-H held a 4-2 lead over M-W when the game was suspended in 4th inning by a thunder and lightning storm.
HCS 14 - Chateaugay 2: Jude Spooner singled twice and pitched four innings and Ryder Liscum closed in the fifth inning for HCS which scored 12 runs in the fourth inning to close out the gameg. Cory Ethridge also singled twice and Larry Young, Lysham Young and Isaac Murdock singled.
Leonard, Kaska and Secore singled for the Chateaugay hits.
