Pewter Report reported that Bucky Irving was back on the practice field during the Buccaneers' final OTA session, marking his first on-field work of the offseason following shoulder surgery.

The young running back is coming off a 2025 season that did not match the production of his breakout rookie campaign in 2024. As a rookie, Irving emerged as one of the NFL's most productive young runners, totaling 1,199 rushing yards, averaging 5.4 yards per carry, scoring eight rushing touchdowns, and adding 398 receiving yards.
Injuries helped limit his impact in 2025, making his health one of the more important storylines for Tampa Bay's offense entering the new season.
The Buccaneers are expected to lean heavily on Irving in 2026 as they continue reshaping the offense following Mike Evans' departure. Having one of their most explosive offensive players back on the practice field is an encouraging sign as preparations for training camp begin to ramp up.
