Jan. 10—BEMIDJI — The Bemidji State women's basketball team's five-game losing streak is now over.
The Beavers defeated Sioux Falls 76-70 at the BSU gymnasium Saturday, jumping back up to .500.
Kassandra Caron led the team in points with 24 and 3-pointers, going 4-for-6 above the arc. She followed closely by Evyn Eppinga with 19 points, going 3-for-6 at the 3-point line.
Aubrey Heyer led BSU with 13 rebounds, while Tieryn Plasch led the team with four assists.
As a team, BSU was lights out at the free throw line, going 16-for-17.
