Jan. 24—BEMIDJI — After a struggling offense Friday night against Concordia-St. Paul, the Bemidji State women's basketball team wanted to make sure that wouldn't happen against against Winona State.
On the back of Evyn Eppinga, the Beavers launched past the Warriors 72-65 at the BSU gymnasium Saturday.
Eppinga led Bemidji State (8-10) in points with 23, and tied Kassandra Caron for the team high in rebounds with eight. She was a perfect 50% from 3-point land, going 5-for-10, also a team high.
Caron led the team in assists with four and steals with two. Aubrey Heyer had two blocks, also a BSU high.
