Bryce James jokes will make you laugh after 2026 NBA Draft originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Bryce James didn't get drafted in the 2026 NBA Draft.
That makes sense, since he wasn't even entered into the draft. LeBron James' son just completed his first year on campus at the University of Arizona.
Bryce didn't play a single second of action for the Wildcats, as they wanted to keep him off the court and redshirt him to preserve this year of his eligibility.
He also has stayed put, not entering the transfer portal and instead trusting that he can make it at Arizona.

In the meantime, though, social media has come up with some funny Bryce jokes surrounding the draft.
There was just enough buzz out there that a few folks are wondering whether he got picked, and a few accounts are trying to take advantage.
This joke about a third day of the NBA Draft that doesn't actually exist is a good one:

There are also false reports of Bryce joining the Lakers:

The reality is Bryce is going to have an even tougher go of it than his older brother Bronny. Bryce's basketball skill might just not be good enough to ever make the NBA.
But his last name is going to make him a well-known hooper regardless. At least for now, that remains at Arizona.
