If this was Boston all you guys would be rippin him left and right. What boston did noone was hurt, raped or beaten but what he did was wrong? Boston just like johnson used bad judgement but it is all right for him because he is a rookie. This a sign of a problem. Mac should be all over him about this. So most of you guys think this is not a problem?

Boston was stopped for driving under the influence. Johnson did not do anything illegal. He just got allegedly got hammered. I am not saying he should have done it but there is a huge difference between the two situations!

This really isn't that hard. Boston tested positive for cocaine and marijuana in addition to what Jim said. Yeah, that's more worrisome.

As for Johnson, it's something you file away under "keep an eye on this". No one has said he did fifteen beer bongs in ten minutes. He wasn't unconcious. How much he drank, we may never know. But, IMO, from the reports, I'm guessing it was under a half dozen.

Having to be taken to the hospital for drinking is a red flag. Hell - with as drunk as I have gotten over the years I have never been to the hospital - Ouchie can vouch for my level of drinking and excess in that area. But, hey - he didn't do anything illegal, so I'll file this one under something to remember, but not harp on.

I agree. And, there were times when I'm sure I was much sicker than Johnson when I drank, and I never went to the hospital and lived to tell about it. IMO, it sounds more like everyone was being really careful more than it was a life threatening situation. If he had a severe alcohol poisoning situation, I guarantee he would not have been back at practice the next day.

Give the kid a break, he is very young and was probably letting go after all he has been thu. Also don't forget the altitude factor in drinking in Flagstaff, I know it hits me faster when I'm there. What you can consume down here can't be the same up there, that's just a fact.

Good call. And in addition he is probably not a "pro" in the drinking department as the rest of us are.

8-Million? was that the signing bonus? And his first night out as a multi-millionaire. You wanna see drunk hand me 8-mill. I'll tie one on that will make NFL Films highlights! The kid will be OK. First time he has EVER left the house with more than $20 in his pocket. Lets just hope it's out of his system.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's so damn easy to get sick from drinking. Maybe he didn't drink much, but mixed his mediums? I once had a beer, a shot of aftershock, and a glass of wine. I was up all night worshiping my toilet and guzzling pedialyte. Damn did that suck!

I nominate this as the worst post I have ever read. To compare drinking to much to a DUI with Coke and Pot in your blood stream is absurd. The only reason BJ's mistake is at all worth commenting about is because he was taken to the hospital. I have to commend those around him for acting responsibly and not taking any chances.
