Congratulations to Brownsburg freshman Jordan Redmon, who was voted by readers as the IndyStar’s high school track and field Athlete of the Week for June 1-6.
Redmon earned 53% of the vote.
Redmon had an elite debut at the boys state track meet on June 6. He ran second leg for the state-winning 4x100 relay team who clocked in a time of 40.60. After he placed fifth in the 200 prelims, the freshman finished third (21.51) in the finals.
