Former University of Cincinnati quarterback Brendan Sorsby, who transferred to Texas Tech, is intending to enter the supplemental draft after a gambling scandal and has been the talk of the town. He's a talented quarterback prospect who still needs a bit of development but has the arm, athleticism, and potential to become a good NFL quarterback.

However, the baggage he brings with him is impossible to ignore; he already spent time in rehab for a gambling addiction, and any team that places a high bid on him in the supplemental draft needs to keep that in the back of their mind. The Cleveland Browns have been one of the teams linked to Sorsby with the uncertainty at quarterback in Cleveland.

However, Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot spoke on 92.3 The Fan, saying she believes the Browns will not be among the teams bidding on Sorsby.

"I've talked to enough people to believe that is the case. We also heard Todd Monken weigh in in a definitive way. I really feel strongly they're not going to do this."
