With the 2026 NFL Free Agency period in full swing, the Cleveland Browns and general manager Andrew Berry have slowly made some signings this week in order to prepare for the upcoming season.
One position group that needed to be addressed this offseason was the offensive line, as Berry and company have been tasked with revamping the entire unit. Cleveland made progress in this department on Monday, as it was reported that former Los Angeles Chargers guard Zion Johnson is set to sign with the organization.
Tuesday marks the first day of veteran guard Joel Bitonio’s new void date under his contract, as the Browns continue to wait for his decision on whether or not he will return for another season. However, according to NFL insider Dianna Russini, the Browns are expected to be aggressive in the guard market on Tuesday, following the signing of Johnson on Monday afternoon.
Here are some of the names that fans should keep an eye on as potential targets in the free agency market.
Paul, a former seventh-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, may lack experience compared to the rest of the free agents on the market. Luckily, this could play into the favor of Berry and the front office if Cleveland wants to strike a deal for a cheap guard.
Throughout his four seasons with the Washington Commanders, Paul has proven to be an adequate pass blocker, allowing just two sacks in his 926 snaps played in 2025. While the 27-year-old guard struggled at times in the run game, his cheap projected value makes him an intriguing option for the Browns.
While newly-hired head coach Todd Monken brought multiple coaches over from the Baltimore Ravens this offseason, Cleveland has yet to sign any of his offensive players from his time with the fellow AFC North organization.
However, Monken’s starting guard from last season, Daniel Faalele, has hit the free market this offseason. In his last two seasons with the Ravens, Faalele struggled to find his footing as the starting right guard, but his familiarity with Monken could be a huge advantage for the Browns if the front office fails to sign a different guard. Faalele is not expected to command much money in free agency, making him a must-watch player this week.
Depending on how much money former Las Vegas Raiders guard Dylan Parham receives from other teams, could be exactly what the Browns are looking for heading into next season.
Parham, during his four seasons with the Raiders, displayed his versatility by playing on both the right and left sides of the offensive line. His ability to be a plug-and-play lineman would be ideal for Cleveland, and with his former team spending a massive amount of money on Tyler Linderbaum, the Browns could make a push for Parham.
