Guess the GM figures they are playing the cardinals. They could win without a HC and give the new one 2 weeks to learn the ropes.

2 weeks of practice with a scrimmage against the 4A state champs of Arizona in the middle.

Prolly the best time to pull the plug IMO.

GO GET HIM WHIZ!!! Offensive assistant!

Haley will prolly get him though. Maybe Bill gets him back.

Nah he figured that the McDaniels-led Broncos blowing out the Cardinals could save his job.

okay: I call that the strangest timing of the 2010 season -- unless the Broncos send out season ticket renewals in the next couple days

Dallas and Minny theoretically had playoffs to be salvaged by getting new energy in the locker room. What is Denver accomplishing?

Too bad we're still not in the playoff hunt. We could bring him in and he could give us all the broncos secrets.

usually coaches get fired AFTER they lose to the Cardinals --

pretty preemptive

Minny had Leslie Frazier and Dallas had Garrent, both guys who're figured to get the call for HC sooner over later.

I'm hoping there's a Marmie-esque lineup in Denver right now.

LOL, how long was his Coaching contract signed for? Maybe we Can dump "The Whizzer' and still salvage next season. Graves would have to go first though IMO.:)

Wouldn't mind seeing him as an OC since we are in need of a good one.

Lords yes! Spygate aside, if he could bring in one iota of that 2007 Pats season it would be unreal! The man has three rings (one as an OC) and fell about 30 seconds short of a fourth. Add in Luck or Newton and we'd be back in it by next season.

Not sure about Whisenant, but Whisenhunt is not on the hot seat... he will at least get one more season, if not more...

These four are by no means on the hot seat and Sporano is probably safe as well.

When the Dolphins owner boycotts the post game team locker room 2 games in a row and tells the public and media that the team is boring and deserved to be booed, the possibility arises that a firing of Ireland and Sporano is imminent. He bought the team as an entertainment vehicle 2 years ago and inherited Parcells,Sporano and Ireland. Averaging 16.5 points per game, at home, is not what he calls entertainment.
