Maybe they feel they really need to be higher in the draft, so you do something like Brissett and a 4th for 1st&3rd round pick swaps.

you are suggesting we are moving up to pick 2??
would this just be to keep the jets from trading the pick to someone else?

or Maybe we are making that trade with the Jets... then trading Kyler to the Raiders for a later pick,,,and moving to pick 2 is going to get Mendoza in Cardinal red?

interesting any way... ARod can bring a ton of drama with him...but if he summons up his reserves for one final hurrah it could be awesome...dude has the ability to send Marv, Mike, and Trey all three to the pro bowl

Can’t imagine the return on Bissett would be worth the disruption to figuring out an offense. Even if someone experienced comes in why get rid of a sound backup.

The only way it makes sense is if they don't want the security of a backup and want to be in the 2027 QB draft market.

Could be either of those. Maybe there's a defender they really want and don't want to get leap frogged again.
