Maybe Kyler was the guy holding these dudes back and also Brissett just loses all the games. But if you’re fans of these guys, you should be considering that Brissett is the best chance we have in 2026 to showcase them.

Can someone break down the touchdowns by quarter for 2025? Where we chasing points because our defense couldn't stop anyone? I seem to think Brisset moved the ball very well throuhout the game but more so in the 3rd and 4th quarters because we were chasing.

602, I think you are a Kyler fan as was I but it would be nice for us to have context on where Brissett was doing his business in garbage time. I don't recall that! I seemed to believe he moved us in a few games but made dumb mistakes for us to tie or win.

Of course I was a k1 fan he was our starting QB and best hope at winning.

JB is 20-45 as a starter. This romanticized view of him is peak Cardinals Fan hysteria.

Okay but those guys did get yards and TDs. It’s not exactly like Kyler had us in every game during his time here.

My argument is not that Brissett is good, or even average. He’s among the worst handful of starters in the NFL. But he’s better than anyone else Monti was able to convince to join the team or Shanghai onto the roster through the draft. Saying “we’ll just start Minshew/Beck” probably has major downstream effects for guys people actually do care about.

It will be impossible to evaluate MHJ year 3 with Beck under center, for example.

Six first half TDs, 17 second half TDs looks pretty bad NGL.

kerouac9, these are very interesting stats and I thank you for providing. From what I can tell, we were behind a lot. Looking at the Score Differential, we were trailing 74% of the time. You can see the attempts per quarter increase after the 1st quarter confirming what I thought. It's not garbage time, it was chasing the game. By the end of the 1st, we were already behind and he had to pass. He also had to avoid getting sacked because out OL was so bad and we couldn't run the ball. If anything, you can see he was terrible within the last 2 or 4 minutes. These stats somewhat confirmed what I saw at the games. 1) we fell behind early and 2) Brissett was effective until the last 4 minutes of the game.
