"[Allen] said he didn't know my name," Bridges added. "I said, 'You'll know by the end of the game because they're going to say it a whole lot on ESPN.' "

All of Darren Urbans post game articles are filled with some great Bridges quotes. I love the shot from last nights game when Bridges was pointing at the score board when jawing with Jared Allen.

Doesn't really make any sense, but you get his point. :p

I saw an interview with Bridges where he said that Allen got so frustrated at one point he actually had to play the "how many pro bowls have you been to" card. So glad we didn't have to see Allen's weak calf-roping celebration 1 single time.

And I like Allen too he seems like a pretty cool guy and the bar he owns in Scottsdale is a decent spot (well for a Vikings bar) but he got HANDLED all night. Biggest surprise of the game for me.

Bridges was simply amazing... and man is he downright NASTY! I'd love to see him become our every game starter!!
D - what's the name of the bar that Allen owns in Scottsdale??

Bridges played great. But let's get something straight. We finally decided to help our LT against a premier pass rusher. Hightower was chipping him all night (and "chipping" is a poor word - he was throwing his whole body in there), plus plenty of help from the TEs, as well as Reggie Wells on pass off protections. Walt and others have been clamoring for this all year.

This should be a learning experience for the coaching staff. Give Gandy that help as well. It will be very discouraging if Gandy comes back, and we don't give him any help, because he will go back to getting eaten alive. The same would have happened to Bridges, IMO. Again, not taking anything away, because there were also one-on-one battles the Bridges won.

Hightower was instrumental in staying to help chip, but we all know Kurt dislikes that. Gives him one less option in the passing game, but maybe he'll now embrace it.

I think the coaches feel Gandy can handle most pass rushers on his own - I'm sure if Gandy had played he would've had help also in this game.

Bridges sure has spunk

The difference in this game was that THT was helping Bridges not Levi for the most part. Even if Levi was going against the non-pro-bowler in the front four, his ability to hold up, allowed the help to concentrate on Jared Allen. In other words, THT "went to Jared's." I'm sure his girlfriend and Kurt are happy about it. :D

He should've said "It's too bad you won't see it on the back of my jersey tonight."

I'll throw one in for the help he was getting with the chip blocks. I was glad they started doing that and actually did it well. We need to be doing this all the time.

I thought this quote from Bridges was even funnier

"It was one of the funnest games I've ever played in my life," Bridges said. "I'm hoarse right now. I ran my mouth the whole game."

I saw him get interviewed on Fox after the game and he said at the end he told him "Thanks man, you just got me paid!"

Having the Dude on the team would ONLY be a positive. He'd make a great OT, protecting a team's blind side...'This aggression will not stand, man!' LOL
